Welcome to the portrait creation process
Step One: Photos and Choosing Size
To get started, please send me your photos. The quality of your portrait will depend on the detail in your images, provide me as many as possible. JPEGs or PDFs are perfect, and it's helpful if you can point out which poses capture your pet's personality and correct colouring. Natural photos taken outdoors work best! If you have more than one pet, don’t worry — send photos of each, and they’ll all be included in your final piece. You can choose between sizes: 8 x 10 inches or 12 x 16 inches, with custom sizes available upon request.
Step Two: Sketches
Once I have your photos, I will create several sketches for your review. You'll have the opportunity to approve these sketches before I begin working on the final portrait.
Step Three: Deposit
To commence your portrait after sketch approval a $50.00 (Canadian) is required.
E-transfer, cheque or cash is accepted.
Step Four Delivery
Your final portrait will be shipped to you. You will also receive 2 free printed colour notecards or a
5 x 7 inch print of your final portrait. Additional cards can be ordered.
Final payment is also required when you receive your package. It can take several weeks to complete your portrait, so please contact me if early if you have a specific occasion in mind.
Gift Certificates
Looking for the perfect gift for a or family member? Gift certificates allow them choose their preferred pose and media for a stunning portrait. It's a fantastic last-minute gift option, complete with space for a personal note from you that I can add. You can have it mailed directly to the lucky recipient!
Promise Notecard
Send a thoughtful touch with a Promise Notecard! Based on the photos you provide,
I will create a beautiful black and white sketch of their pet, printed on a notecard and accompanied by an envelope. This special card lets the know that their portrait has been commissioned and is in progress!
